It’s been a while since I last posted something. AGAIN! We
came back from Lanzarote a few days ago and since then I have been really busy.
We had a marvellous time on our holiday! We ate plenty of good food, swam in the sea and had a
lot of time to relax. One evening we decided to barbecue! There were 6 of us
and we all chipped in while making the summery dinner. We bought a lot of fresh
prawns, calamari rings, chicken and sausages. We marinated the seafood in
garlic, lemon zest, beer and olive oil. What a symphony! On top of that we made
a delish salad with honey rum dressing and a homemade guacamole. I will
remember this dinner for a good while. Thank you everyone for a fabulous
holiday. I can’t wait until the next one. Tenerife here we come!!
Seafood Marinade:
3tbsp olive oil
1 glass of beer
4 cloves garlic
Zest of one lemon
Salt & Pepper
Salad dressing:
2tbsp olive oil
2tbsp honey rum
Salt & Pepper
Homemade Guacamole:
3 avocados
1tbsp cream cheese
1tsp mayonnaise
1 clove garlic
Lemon juice of ½ a lemon
Salt & Pepper
Very easy to make, put all ingredients in a blender and
blend until creamy :-)
BBQ gatherings are best done in holiday destinations or spots that have fascinating beaches like Lanzarote. The Lanzarote villas are ideal for BBQ parties.
